In the battle against mediocrity, luke-warm commitments to the fight for freedom, and a general apathy towards the attacks on our freedom there is no more critical weapon than truth. Truth stems from transparency and, particularly in terms of COVID, there has simply been no truth or transparency on the part of our government from the beginning. This is not surprising in light of the fact that we are now seeing that our DOD and CIA were largely responsible for the creation of both COVID and the vaccines but what remains truly disturbing is the willingness of many to tolerate the loss of their freedoms without asking any real questions about the truth behind the claims used to justify that loss.
Even within the core members of our freedom fighters it seems lost on many the dangers we are facing. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu just posted a roundtable on X (Twitter) in which an open discussion was occurring regarding the AI takeover of humanity culminating with a literal brain-computer interface likely launching in 2030 (search Netanyahu Elon Musk and look at the “AI Safety Roundtable”). Things are quite dire yet many seem to be scaling back their commitment to the fight at a time when they are needed most. Why? Certainly exhaustion and life are major factors (though I’d ask what life looks like in the future if we don’t fight with everything we have) but I think a more fundamental factor is the general manipulation of the public that is making it seem to most that we are making enough progress that the fight is less imperative than it was when we were locked down and wearing masks. Let me explain.
I frequently hear references to the “deep state” but when people talk about the deep state they have no idea what it is. While I do not think the deep state is a defined group of specific people I would suggest that much of the deep state comes from our military industrial complex and is comprised, primarily, of the unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats and officials that have the authority to use “security” as a justification to monitor and limit freedom. When freedom can be monitored and limited without oversight of those with that authority it becomes a recipe for disaster. To that extent, our CIA, DIA, DOD, DHS and many others are exempt from many disclosure laws, are in no way accountable to the public, have an endless budget, and have almost unlimited authority to obtain data on everything and everyone. The scariest part is that these same people can use the data they obtain to manipulate the public under the guise of “keeping us safe” and we the people have no way to know it is happening nor do we have any real recourse if they behave corruptly.
This may sound like conspiracy theory but the laws are clear and I want to provide a specific example. The Department of Defense just awarded a huge sum of money to a company known as Dataminr. The grant was for “event detection software”.
What is event detection software? Event detection software is software that looks for things that are disruptive to the direction of what is expected. For example, if the DOD and CIA were to release a virus from a lab in Wuhan China and expected it to propagate in a way similar to event 201 the event detection software would find places online where things were popping up that might change the expected propagation of such a virus. Clearly this is an example and not a real thing but it is an explanation of what event detection software would do.
In practical terms, the event detection software would also be very effective in determining issues with an emergency management plan. In the previous example the propagation of said virus would see an emergency management plan kick into gear shortly after the “outbreak” occurred. The emergency management plan would include ensuring everyone followed the prescribed solutions to the emergency such as, for example, a modRNA vaccine. Said event detection software would immediately detect and create an alert to authorities if someone posted something online suggesting that these hypothetical modRNA vaccines were unsafe or ineffective. Those authorities could then ensure that the offensive actor was censored or otherwise castigated.
Essentially the event detection software here is an alert system that would allow authorities to know and respond to anyone challenging the official narrative and it would be put in place to keep us all safe… but for the fact that the authorities are crooked. In case it seems unlikely that software could be developed that would monitor the entirety of the internet here is an excerpt from Dataminr itself:

These guys literally monitor the entire internet using AI to see if anyone is saying anything that could be disruptive to the official narrative. Here you can see the benefit to the DOD as Dataminr was able to detect COVID immediately and then tell them what happened throughout - obviously it was a coincidence that they were watching for this:

Sarcasm aside, this grant is for software the DOD can use and share with various other government agencies to censor and control the news and narrative of any lies they want to promote in the United States. The DOD will claim it is for defense and to keep an eye on foreign adversaries but frankly I believe that is a lie. This is the same DOD that has, with the CIA funded and pushed the creation of COVID and the vaccines. They have lost my trust until there is some transparency.
Let us not forget the repeal of the Smith-Mundt Act. While some would debate the legal impact of the amendments to this act I believe they, along with other legislation, have allowed for the propagandizing of the American people. The DOD and the rest of the deep state appear to have been manipulating the American public for some time and the law is not stopping them. Ultimately the purchase of the Dataminr software will stand as just another example of our government paying for tools whose main purpose is to facilitate censorship and the general impedance of a healthy public discourse.
